About Speaker
Nirankush is the VP, Product at Salesforce where he is focussed on creating a platform for all developers, designers to create rich applications for all form factors. He has spent more than a decade on advancing the web platform, and making it a worthy alternative for building applications. Before Salesforce, he was working at Microsoft leading their Web Standards strategy, and owning core parts of their Web Platform. Nirankush is passionate about Developer scenarios, tools and the web.
About Talk
Over the last few years, we have seen a plethora of Javascript libraries which were trying to fill the gaps the Web Platform had. Each became their own language for web development, thereby making it hard for a developer to choose the Web as the ultimate platform of choice. We at Salesforce deeply believe in the power of Web as we use this platform to drive our 120 billion Salesforce ecosystem. We were part of the community which drove rapid technological changes on the Web and have enabled the emergence of Web as the true platform. Over time, we have created an end to end stack with all the tools you need to cater to multiple form factors.
