KasperskyOS: Operating system with Kaspersky Cyber Immunity properties for secure embedded systems

Nowadays there is a wide range of cybersecurity problems. And it is important to think about the security from the very beginning, when you develop the architecture of your solution (Secure by design). One approach is to use microkernel operating systems. Kaspersky company has developed its own microkernel operating system – KasperskyOS. KasperskyOS is designed to create software systems that are protected from any, even unknown threats, and does not require overlaid protection tools such as antiviruses. The KasperskyOS microkernel is written entirely from scratch and does not use Linux kernel code. The core of a system is its key architectural component that provides communication between user applications and hardware – Kaspersky Security System. We would like to introduce our open source version – KasperskyOS Community Edition SDK that can help to create security applications on Raspberry Pi 4. We will also present the set of security patterns whose implementation examples are provided in KasperskyOS Community Edition SDK.
