Open Source India 2014 Set to Start in Bengaluru Tomorrow

BENGALURU, November 6, 2014

The Two-day Event Will Feature 9 Tracks, 8 Workshops and 40+ Speakers Talking About Some of the Latest Technologies

The stage is set for Asia’s largest convention on open source technology, Open Source India 2014. Slated to happen on 7-8 November, 2014, at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru, the two-day event packs nine tracks, eight hands-on workshops and will witness the presence of over 40 speakers from the industry and the very vibrant open-source community.

Taking the spirit of open source to another level, the 11th edition of Open Source India, fondly known as OSI Days, aims to bridge the gap between the industry and the community. This is pretty significant in the topics chosen for the talks, discussions and workshops. That’s not all! OSI Days 2014 will also see a recruitment drive courtesy Wipro. The IT major recently announced its plan to hire 10,000 professionals for open source programmes recently. Taking a step ahead in this direction, Wipro will be present at the event to conduct its recruitment drive.
