Is the free Community Pass available?
Yes. It covers expo access, all keynotes and all talks in Hall A only. It does not include the certificate of attendance, the session videos or the other five tracks.

What happens if two sessions I want are running at the same time?
Three tracks run in parallel across the halls on both days, so clashes are normal. With a Knowledge, Professionals or Leaders pass you can walk into any hall, and you get lifetime access to the videos of every session, including the one you missed. With a Community, Community++ or Student pass you are in Hall A, and the video library you receive covers Hall A sessions only.
Is lifetime video access really lifetime?
Yes. Lifetime access to the session videos is part of Community++ and above. Community++ and Student cover Hall A sessions. Knowledge, Professionals and Leaders cover all sessions.
Are workshops included in a delegate pass?
No. A workshop is a separate pass at ₹2,999 for one workshop. Your delegate pass sets the discount on it: 10% with Community++ or Student, which is about ₹300 off, 25% with Knowledge, about ₹750 off, 33% with Professionals, about ₹990 off, and 90% with Leaders, about ₹2,699 off.
Is lunch included?
The complimentary networking buffet lunch on both days comes with the Professionals and Leaders passes. On any other pass you can add a Lunch Pass at ₹999 for one day or ₹1,998 for both days. Note that Knowledge at ₹1,999 plus both days of lunch at ₹1,998 comes to ₹3,997, and the Professionals Pass is ₹3,999.
I am a student. What do I need to bring?
The Student Pass is ₹500 and carries the same benefits as Community++. You need a valid student ID for entry, so carry it with you on both days.
How do group discounts work?
The discount is applied automatically at checkout based on how many passes are in the booking: 10% for 3 to 5 passes, 15% for 6 to 10, 20% for 11 to 20 and 25% for 21 or more. Book the group in one transaction so the whole set qualifies.
Can I upgrade my pass later?
Passes are sold by tier on the registration site, so the upgrade path is to pick the higher tier there. For anything specific to a booking you have already made, check the registration site at register.opensourceindia.in.
Where is the venue and what are the timings?
Open Source India 2026 is at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru, on 7 and 8 October 2026. Both days run from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.
